Catching Snowflakes in Tahoe in June

Julie and Stephen had a beautiful early Summer wedding planned at PlumpJack in Squaw Valley. As we drove into the valley there were a few clouds in the sky, which we always hope for here in the mountains because it makes the light at 6000 feet and higher just a little less nuclear. A few clouds is nothing out of the ordinary for a mid-June day, but we didn’t expect the snow storm that ensued throughout the day and the total awesomeness of these two and their families. A huge thanks to Rachael with RSVP Events for keeping the faith that the weather would hold just long enough to keep the ceremony outside! There is a reason we always carry our down jackets and our bathing suits in our car year-round up here in the Sierras.
