Katie + Evan -- Nantucket Wedding

Home. Home is the one word the truly embodies Katie & Evan’s wedding celebration on Nantucket that we were lucky enough to witness. When Katie, who is a fantastic photographer in her own right, asked us to document her wedding weekend on her hometown island of Nantucket we were in! Not because of the location, not because she also is a wedding photographer but because she may possibly be the most gracious, generous, kind and happiest person we have ever met. Based on who Katie is, we knew her family and every guest at this wedding was going to be our kinda people. Boy, were we right. We have never been a part of a celebration filled with more genuine appreciation, love, happiness, generosity, tradition, and pure joy. We are still buzzing from this weekend. Overwhelmed doesn’t begin to describe the feeling we have of now being a part of the Nantucket family. We would photograph this wedding over and over again. So much gratitude to the entire Kaizer & Schwanfelder families, Maggie with Nantucket Island Events, the Nantucket Yacht Club, Darya Salon and Spa, Cake Nantucket, Betsey Brooks Floral Design, Flowers on Chestnut, Splash (Wilson Stevens Band), Nantucket Photo Booth, Buckle and Shake who rocked the The Chicken Box at the after party, and last but certainly not least….Yellow Productions, who are an amazing husband/wife video team with whom we had the privilege to work.
